Four supplemental notes:
(1) For those of you who, like me, fondly remember Baldwin's as one of Manchester's finest in some time, Mint is its replacement. Same location, some of the same traits (fancy bistro food, good wine list), some improvements (better music).
(2) Richard's Bistro, on Lowell Street: big portions, pleasantly presented, semi-experimental bistro food. www.richardsbistro.com
(3) Hanover Street Chophouse: a modern-style big city steakhouse. Prices to match, but a wonderful selection of meat and fish dishes, with a great wine list. www.hanoverstreetchophouse.com
(4) Bedford Village Inn: not exactly in Manchester, but the best food around (fancy), and the most extensive wine list. Worth the trip.

Keisha:

Thanks for reading and commenting. I am forever recommending ???The Great Game of Business??? to my friends who are business owners or managers.

Open-book management is a great way to give employees an entrepreneurial viewpoint, which as you rightly note will be increasingly valuable to employees and employers in the coming months. Regards,

Hi! My name is Keshia, and I actually work for Jack Stack's company, The Great Game of Business, that teaches the Open-Book Management philosophy you reference in your blog. I just wanted to say that I enjoyed your post and thank you for sharing the benefits of OBM on your blog. I believe that OBM is a philosophy that will become even more valuable with the uncertainty of the economy in the next few months, and it is so important for entrepreneurs to communicate with their employees on such critical issues. Have a great day and thanks for sharing!
